Eva Papamargariti Greek, b. 1987

Eva Papamargariti (b. 1987, Greece) lives and works between Athens, Greece, and London, UK. Her practice spans moving image, sculpture, installation, and printed media, exploring the entanglement between physical and digital realities and the shifting relationships between human and non-human agents. Through the creation of synthetic landscapes, hybrid environments, and immersive spatial installations, she investigates processes of transformation, identity formation, and the merging of biological, technological, and virtual systems. Her works often unfold within fluid, speculative worlds where myth, fiction, and everyday experience intersect, reflecting on the continuous circulation of images and the evolving conditions of contemporary perception. Selected exhibitions include presentations at the New Museum, New York, USA; Whitney Museum of American Art, New York, USA; Tate Britain, London, UK; MAAT – Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology, Lisbon, Portugal; MoMA PS1, New York, USA; Serpentine Galleries, London, UK; Pérez Art Museum Miami, Miami, USA; Museum of the Moving Image, New York, USA; and MOMus – Museum of Modern Art, Thessaloniki, Greece. Her work is included in the collections of the Onassis Foundation, Athens, Greece; the Dakis Joannou Collection (DESTE Foundation), Athens, Greece; the PCAI Collection, Athens, Greece; and MOMus – Museum of Modern Art, Thessaloniki, Greece.
